Filenize users with the Filenize Admin permission are able to configure the managed package. The configuration screen shows a checklist of steps to perform before Filenize is ready for use. The following steps need to be done before any Filenize configuration can be done.

SharePoint Instance

At least one SharePoint instance is required and is needed for any interaction with Filenize. This is to let Filenize know which site/subsite/document library to use. Simply pass the SharePoint instance identifier to the Lightning Component or Apex, and Filenize will do the rest. Each Salesforce org can have multiple SharePoint instances. Do you have multiple sites/subsites for different departments and only need to show the correct one in Salesforce? SharePoint instances can help with that.

In the Configuration page, under the “Configure your SharePoint instance” section, click on the “Add” button. This opens a prompt to help you creating the instance. Follow the following steps:

After the save, a new entry is shown in the configuration page including its identifier.

If your business supports multiple SharePoint sites/subsites, you can add them using the “Add More” button.
